        Catholic Relief Services (CRS) strives to alleviate underlying injustices in Cambodia through complementary programmatic initiatives that the agency has developed with its local partners. For example, the CRS Battambang Community Based Primary Health Care Program reaches more than 120,000 women and children and is CRS largest and oldest program. It aims to increase access to and improve health care services for rural communities in five districts of Battambang Province.

        The Dutch organisation HealthNet International works on the structural development of health care in war-affected countries. In Cambodia, HealthNet works with the Partnership for Health to improve the reproductive health status of the people of Romeas Hek district in Svay Rieng Province. HealthNet also works to improve health services in Peareang District in Prey Veng Province.

        Helen Keller International directly addresses the causes of preventable blindness, provides rehabilitation services to blind people, and helps reduce micronutrient malnutrition which can cause blindness and death in children. Activities in Cambodia include: Vitamin A Supplementation/Social Marketing, Home Gardening, Primary Eye Care, Trachoma Activity, and National Micronutrient Survey.

        The mission of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance is to support communities in developing countries to play a full and effective role in the global response to AIDS. In Cambodia, the Alliance is the parent organisation of KHANA, the Khmer HIV/AIDS NGO Alliance. Established in 1996, KHANA has spearheaded the community response to HIV/AIDS work in the country: to date, it has mobilised over 40 NGOs and is now recognised as the premier AIDS NGO support programme in Cambodia. KHANA also receives support from USAID, JICA, MoH - World Bank, AUSAID, EU, UNFPA (through the Reproductive Health Initiative for Asia) and the British Embassy.

        Cambodia Women's Clinics (CWC) was established as a local non-government organisation in September 1998 with the financial, technical and managerial support of Marie Stopes International Australia (MSIA). CWC works to provide a safe and innovative approach to reproductive health, family planning and maternal and child health care services. Areas of particular concern are STI detection and treatment, HIV/AIDS prevention and counselling, and termination of pregnancy up to 12 weeks and the treatment of complications due to unsafe abortion.
